Yooo, Let's Go
So, I haven't thought about Wakfu in years (since season 3 came out). I remember seeing the Ankama "here's some cool shit we're doing" from earlier this year that mentioned season 4 came out and season 5 is in progress, but I've mostly been waiting for it to pop up on Netflix since that's the American broadcaster.
I guess something fell through, cuz Ankama just said fuck it and posted the entire fourth season on Youtube in English.
(They also have the first three seasons + the OVAs if you don't want or have a Netlfix account).
I originally watched it in French before the English dub finally hit. I did watch at least some of the English voice cast and found the performances hit and miss. The VAs aren't bad; I just wasn't thrilled about some of the Voice Director's choices. I watched season 3 in French because that was what my friend wanted to watch it in. I guess this will be a chance for me to see how much the English VAs have evolved in the last...what, ten years (my god) since season one and two came out in English.
I won't blitz through it this weekend since I'm a bit busy and away from my friend, but we're both going to watch it together and it's going to be such a fucking blast.
(Maybe I should make a icon for my baby girl Amalia or son Adamai)
Season 5 is also doing a Backicker campaign until April 30th if people are interested! You can more or less preorder season 5 + other goodies. I decided to skip it since I missed the Kickstarter and the minimum pledge (25 Euros) has cosmetics for the MMO, which I'm not really interested in playing myself.
